How to Get to Our Private Villa in Umbria
Flights
The closest airports are Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci), Ciampino (both one and a half hours drive away) and Perugia (one hour drive). Pisa, Florence and Ancona airports are around a three hour drive away.
Mainstream airlines generally fly to Fiumicino while budget airlines fly into the other ones. When booking flights it is advisable not to arrive late at night as it can be difficult to negotiate your way through the Umbrian lanes that are unlit and stony.
Car hire
As we are off the beaten track it is not advisable to stay with us without a car. Car hire prices fluctuate. Flight companies often offer the best deals when you book. However some companies run their offices and pick up points outside of the airport which can be inconvenient to reach. It is worth checking this out before committing to a particular deal.
