“We look forward to welcoming you to Poggio Le Stalle, our unique Umbrian farmhouse set among 28 acres of olive, fruit, nut and oak trees. This stunning location captured our hearts back in 1989 and over the years we have lovingly restored the farmhouse and the charming cottages nearby, where we now live, creating a peaceful retreat for deep, restful nights of sleep and afternoon siestas.
“We lived as a family in the farmhouse which has given the villa a sense of lived-in comfort which guests say sets it apart from many rental places. The indoor and outdoor sitting and eating areas are spacious with other seating arrangements dotted through the surrounding gardens and fields, giving guests the opportunity to appreciate the views and the beauty of the secluded and unspoilt Umbrian countryside.
“Although we are off the beaten track, we are close to the medieval town of Amelia and many other famous hillside towns with the unique artistic features and culinary specialties they offer.
