How to reach us

Take the A1 autostrada that connects Rome and Florence and exit at Orte. From there follow the signs for Amelia and then to Macchie. Final details on how to reach Le Stalle from Macchie will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking.

Flights

The closest airports are Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci), Ciampino (both one half hour drive away) and Perugia (one hour drive). Pisa, Florence and Ancona airports are around a three hour drive away.

Mainstream airlines generally fly to Fiumicino while budget lines fly into the other ones. When booking flights it is advisable not to arrive late at night as it can be difficult to negotiate your way through the Umbrian lanes that are unlit and stony.

Car Hire

As we are off the beaten track it is not advisable to stay with us without a car. Car hire prices fluctuate. Flight companies often offer the best deals when you book.
